Dumb bitch results…
I heard something that pissed me off today. Chris Williamson. Podcaster, was asked
If you could go back to the darkest times of your life and see your inner child, and you could speak to it, what would you say?
Context, like me this man has been bullied. Wasn’t hugely social and so I was intensely interested in what he had to say.
He said something stupid.
“I’d hug my inner child. Tell them that they’re doing the best that they can”
What. Bullshit.
If you want to play small, sure, go hug that kid. It will make them feel good for a day. But remember, if you play dumb bitch, you get dumb bitch results.
I’d level with my inner child and tell her this.
“ you are capable of greatness. You see that rage inside? It’s not a negative feeling, get your ass up and move. Get it all. Let it drive you. It’s not poison. It’s fuel. You’re not meant to drink petrol, you’re meant to put it in your car. So use your rage or your rage will use you. Put it in its place and get what you want. Get it all. That man? Get him. Love him well. Be the best wife ever. Those kids? Get them. Raise them well. Be the best mother ever. That education. Seek it. Be the best student ever. That dream? Pursue it. Be the best woman ever. Don’t let me hear you complaining about life because you will never be satisfied until you win so unequivocally. So completely and absolutely at everything. Never compromise. What you tolerate you pay for. So never pay a dime in this game of life. Win.win.win. The day you stop winning is the day you die. This life is all about you. So get it all. Anywho tells you to compromise doesn’t love you and wants to keep you small. Destroy them with your constant winning. You can’t make anyone treat you well. But you can cut them out like the cancer they are. Take growth and learning seriously. That’s the only way you win.
Win and keep winning and only through the relentless winning will you prove your point to yourself that you are a winner and then the opinions of others don’t matter. Start today.”
Bitch, did I stutter?
Go forth and win.
