Someone could have been raped.
Can you believe this? This can only happen to a rich dude.
We, in the UK have had what is known as a “whip” they “whip” the vote to make sure that people vote with the government. You can be a whip, a chief whip or a deputy chief whip.
There was a man called Christopher Pincher who has sexually assaulted someone whilst drunk last Tuesday. He groped 2 men. The police, as far as I have knowledge, have not been called.
He resigned for this saying he was drunk.
However before he became deputy chief whip he had some complaints of sexual harassment and sexual assault. He got the job anyway.
Look here. This is a disgrace and what we have seem to forgotten is that there are VICTIMS.
The 2 men who were groped were groped for no reason because this man shouldn’t have been put in a position of power.
I never thought I’d say this but… thank God it’s a groping and not a rape. This is how bad this has gotten.
I personally feel like sexual assault with a male victims are not taken seriously. I can’t imagine (I really hope this is not naivete) that if this guy was groping women and everyone knew it he’d be promoted even when a complaint had been made and he’d copped to it.
Also, when is sexual assault and harassment ever an “apologising matter?” I swear it’s a matter for the police??? Like… Always??? And if you are found guilty of sexual misconduct I swear everyone is expected to resign?
Also, trust Boris to make a crass comment such as “Pincher by name, Pincher by nature”
What Boris doesn’t get is everyone knows Boris for sexual misconduct himself. He is known to have cheated on his wife when she had cancer, he tried giving his mistress turned wife jobs in the civil service. This is why this is so damaging. This wouldn’t have touched Theresa May. She’d have never allowed a known sexual deviant to hold the whip. Same thing as David Cameron, who comes off as a family man with some political common sense.
But my main point is sexual misconduct is not a joke. Someone, 2 people in fact have had a life changing traumatic experience, and whilst Pincher is ultimately responsible for this, Boris is an enabler, because he put this man in a position of power. Which I’m pissed about.
Like I have always said, drug dealers are enablers. Which is why a Prime minister should not be likened to a drug dealer, but yet here we are.
But as I said in my title. SOMEONE COULD HAVE BEEN RAPED??? Why is that not an important issue. Where is the consideration for past and future victims? People forget that sexual deviancy is a serial offence. Paedophiles don’t just commit one crime. When have you heard of a paedophile only abusing a child once? Even if they only abuse one child? People like R Kelly, Jimmy Saville, people like paedophile priests and football coaches they all end up with multiple offences, rapists don’t offend once.
I’m so disgusted that people don’t give a damn that this man was basically left loose with 600+ victims that are MP’s, plus the staff most of whom would be junior. Which leaves anywhere up to 1000 potential victims, both male and female. No one gives a damn. Its disgusting. People, I keep repeating, could have been seriously hurt.
To quote a conservative MP.
Those who sit on their hands, are not showing leadership and courage.
God help us. Apparently, we’re all victim fodder for the wealthy. That’s what this has taught me. Its kind of unspoken, but still, its quite something for Boris to say its only “regrettable” to employ a sexual deviant. Whereas if you do that in any other role and someone gets hurt. Best know you are held responsible. You don’t wait 4 days, you get kicked out immediately. Because people don’t take lightly to sexual violence sympathisers.
Basically, if you are rich, you have access to assault unlimited victims.
Unless. You have someone with accountability.
And that is what this country needs.
Grace and Courage
