It is not my job to hold black men when they cry

The Chancellor of the Exchequer did something very stupid last week. All but crashed the economy single handed. He cut taxes for the very rich (this will get its own blog post.) Needless to say he got it wrong. Very wrong. But apparently it’s got racist to tell him he is wrong. Why? Because his name is Kwasi Kwateng and he’s black. He’s also not my problem. My man screwed up. Everyone, including the IMF is saying so. This is unusual because the IMF doesn’t get involved in U.K. matters. It’s normally there for developing nations. This is significant because the U.K. is no longer the imperial and colonial global superpower it once was, which is why the IMF thought to speak but also… we really can’t afford it. As in really.Can’t. But my mum thinks he’s getting all this heat because he’s black. Wrong. He’s getting all this heat because he, despite being an intelligent man blindly did as he was told. And he made the wrong call and cost people thousands. He also had 0 figures to back it up because Liz Truss wanted to do a budget in a week not when it was right (again read Dogma) he is the second most powerful man in the country, one of the top 100 most powerful men in the world and he didn’t push back. Even though it’s on his head. Even though he knew he was ruining things for black men and women for the next 50 years. “We don’t want another black Chancellor, the last one crashed the economy in a week!” He knew he was black when he was screwing up. And he did it anyway. Therefore it is not the black community’s job to lift him up when he acts a fool. It’s the black community’s job to sit back, relax and let him take his L.

I shy away from political ideation. Again, it’s all in the post “Dogma” but there is something about black conservatives I dislike. I am conservative leaning in I believe that the government, given half a chance will give my hard earned money to their nearest friend in need of “yacht money” instead of fixing schools and hospitals. Meanwhile I’m also left leaning in that I believe the state should help people in need. Access to a good education shouldn’t be exclusive to the rich. Anyway. Black conservatives always strike me as “pick me’s”

Seeking approval from and espousing the racist nonesense of people who openly hate them. They’re “the friendly black man from down the road.” Who doesn’t mind being called “coloured” or “Negro” and keep trying to say the British “weren’t so bad after all” when they stole from almost everywhere then barred the decendents of the people they stole from even the right to earn an honest living and live with dignity. So yeah, I’m not a fan. Which is why I believe that if you are truly a conservative, you don’t need help from black people, because conservatives hate black people. Therefore it’s not my job to defend you just because you are black. In fact it’s racist of me to do so because I wouldn’t take your shit if you were white. I’d still call you a dogmatic idiot. I’d still say that the Conservatives are here to wreck the country, I’d still be mad because you helped rich people not poor people. So actually nothing I would say would change. Which is why I don’t care if he’s black. He’s an idiot. Idiots can be black and it’s not racist to say it.

Therefore it’s not my job to hold black men when they cry. I’m not their mum. They have mother’s for that.
