Please Jesus, don’t let me regret this…

I want to be clear, I speak in hypotheticals for now. I have had some thoughts.

At present my understanding is that my uncle and aunt will be coming to the UK at the same time. This means I will be taking my uncle to Paris. A decision I have made today, 5th of March 2025.

The trip, God willing will be in August.

I was making it “the trip of a lifetime” i.e. so here is the schedule.

Day 1. Wake up at mum’s house (God knows where I’ll be sleeping because I won’t have a bed anymore? Mum lives in a 3 bedroom house. Mum’s room, the Guest room, (Auntie Bea) My cousin’s room uncle C) where I will be sleeping only God knows. Probably the living room.

We travel to London with the aim of getting to St Pancras 2 1/2 hours before departure.

We will take the train to Paris.

We will stay in Monparnasse.

We take a river cruise on the Seine then afternoon tea at the Ritz (or the other way around) (let;’s hold a moment of silence for my wallet)

Day 2. Big Paris energy.

Wake up to breakfast at Le train Bleu.

Go to the Eiffel Tower. Then lunch at Cafe Flores.

Go to the Louvre in the afternoon, and then dinner at Bullien Julien.

If we have time Galeries Lafayette Haussmann shopping. (mainly there for the roof)

Day 3.

Breakfast at Maison Souquet.

Versailles! Spend the day in Versailles. Eat there and

Day 4.

Round up day with everything we didn’t do and check out.

Take the train home.

Rest.

Pray God no one stresses me. I know day 1 and 2 will be intense. But it will be fun too.

I don’t want to be “the parent” where I cancel events and cause fights.

I am worry because my uncle has a track record and I don’t want any problems.

It must be said, this is a large social experiment of “will my mother and aunt (now uncle) enjoy the same things as my friends and I?” This is essentially my ideal Paris trip.

Pray for my wallet.

Pray harder for my patience.

Grace and Courage.

Annetta Mother Smith.
