Did you buy a ticket for the train the day before? Check
This list is no joke what I take to work everyday. Utterly ridiculous but its Adulting Pro Max. Everything you need to have a productive day at work, with a gym session afterwards. So when I am asked to purchase a (heavy) gymlock I get annoyed because I need to add this to the list of literally 20 things a girl needs to have on her to have a good day. I go to the gym after work. It was an easy commitment to make. I can’t leave London without going, I book a late train so I have to go after work, it also means I don’t get home until 9pm. Hilariously, I did a 60,000 step walk on Friday, didn’t even feel sore, so much so that the next day I did a 30,000 step walk… still felt fine. Today I do a 45 minute session and my legs go. “Nah boo, you’re taking this too far… we hurt today….” I’m trying to fight depression with diet, and exercise. It kinda worked. I felt good today having done 5 minutes on a rower. I also felt absolute terror in my soul going downstairs to where the big boys go. I stay upstairs, with the ameteurs and the mirror that shows me with raw honesty the tummy that brought me here in the first place. I do battle with my body image, because when you lay it all out… your body isn’t that toned, clothes keep you decent, but my arms are huge and I am softer around the middle than I would like, so I have wrapped my house around fitness. and losing weight. Gym twice a week, workout everyday, on my non working from home days they are arms and core, weekends are rest days, walks 3 times per day. Water intake has gone up drastically. Other drinks have decreased. Its not that I am drinking more, its just I drink water instead. I am still working on getting my sugar intake down (pineapple) but from what I used to eat at the turn of the year its amazing. I’m doing this for an unpublished goal, with the side benefits of mental strength, and increased mental health, driving towards a goal and becoming the woman I wish to be… Including prolific reading and blogging.
This is Adulting Pro Max.
And its damn hard.
Report back later.
Grace and Courage.
